John 15:9-11

how toThat Your Joy May Be Complete

💕Joy can feel hard to reach

when we wake up already carrying too much.

Before the day even asks anything of us,

our hearts can feel crowded.

We want to be peaceful.

We want to be grateful.

We want to feel close to God.

Not someday.

Today.

💕 Today’s One Word Is: JOY

💕 John 15:9-11 | That Your Joy May Be Complete

Jesus tells us

how deeply He loves us.

“As the Father loves me,

so I also love you.”

Then He invites us

to remain in His love

by keeping His commandments.

He does not say this

to burden us.

He says it for love.

“I have told you this

so that my joy may be in you

and your joy may be complete.”

💕 This is where this Gospel meets us today.

We can start to believe holiness means carrying more.

More pressure.

More proving.

More trying to get it right.

But Jesus shows us something different.

His commandments are not meant

to pull us away from joy.

They keep us close to love.

And when we remain in His love,

His joy begins to live in us.

Not someday.

Today.

💕 How to Live This Today

Notice one small gift today.

A breath.

A face.

A quiet mercy.

A moment you almost missed.

Thank Him for it out loud.

Let His love become your gladness,

even before everything feels lighter.

💕 Scripture to Hold Today

“That my joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.”

John 15:11

💕 What the Catechism Says

The desire for happiness is divine in origin.

God has placed it in the human heart

in order to draw us to Him,

who alone can fulfill it.

💕 Let’s pray.

In the name of the Father,

and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Jesus,

fill me with Your joy today.

Not the world’s kind.

Yours.

Born of Your love.

Steady through any weather.

Amen.

💕 Remember:

Joy is not something we have to chase.

It is His life remaining in us.
